Absolute washable orthopedic Immobilizer for immobilization in above elbow, at the elbow knob and at the inside of elbow tip.

INTENDED USE

  • Proximal of radius and ulna fractures (Monteggia fractures, Galeazzi fractures)
  • Distal humerus fractures
  • Elbow fractures (Supracondylar/Epicondyle fracture of humerus)
  • Mid shaft fractures of radius ulna
FlexiOH® Full arm immobilizers are designed for immobilization in above elbow (supracondylar), at the elbow knob and at the inside of elbow tip. The Full arm immobilizer is engineered with new features designed to provide secure and comfortable support. Patients can do daily activities while wearing this immobilizer. For application of FlexiOH® full arm immobilizer, doctors need to apply it on the patient’s hand with the zip and then cure it with the Rizycure® light device (recommended) or direct sunlight for around 5-10 minutes depending on the size of immobilizer. Once it is rigid , it will take the shape of the patient’s hand for support during the treatment.
 
FlexiOH® provide ~35 % open area of skin to breathe, wash, and exposure to sunlight which all are necessary to maintain healthy skin.

Application Process

Step – 1 : Measure Forearm Circumference and …

Step – 2 : Measure maximum arm circumference size and choose from size chart

Step – 3 : Open the product and inspect the product (In case any damaged, get it replaced)

Step – 4 : Now place the elbow at the centre as shown in the image

Step – 5 : First start zipping forearm zip over the forearm area

OrthoHeal

Step – 6 : Start zipping second zip over the elbow to mid-arm area

Step – 7 : Hold the arm to create angle of 90 degree for reduction

Step – 8 : To hold the angle of 90 degree, lock the ribs with zip ties (keep it loose as shown)

Step – 9 : Take RizyCure Curing Light Device and start curing around the thumb area

Step – 10 : Expose about 5-7 minutes and keep confirm until harden

Step – 11 : Tighten all the zip ties and cut the extra length with pliers

Step – 12 : Once it’s rigid, tie a strap loop around the palm over immobilizer

Easy Removal Process

Removal Step – 1 : Cut the fabric of the zip along one of the side using blunt scissors

Removal Step – 2 : Use double action pliers to break the rib of the immobilizer in a straight line on the opposite side of zip line

Removal Step – 3 : To remove immobilizer, apply gentle force and pull out from the immobilizer
